Engineering Program manager: Delivered world-class products and built an effective organization to achieve on-time delivery of projects with outstanding quality. Managed fast-paced cross-functional teams with deploy to production every 2/3 weeks. Improved code quality with effective peer reviews and cross-training team members on handling issues. Contributed to product feature definition and worked closely with product managers to apply resources optimally to meet release goals. Cut development costs by 30% saving several thousand dollars per month by managing AWS resources including shutdown instances when not in use, alerting/reporting on sparingly used instances and moving to latest instance types. Consolidated development accounts across teams to eliminate unnecessary duplication. Planned and executed product launches that required working closely with AWS marketing team, product launch team, service metrics team, billing team, console platform team, legal department and Open Source Software team.
Agile coach: Successfully transitioned multiple teams to agile development driving project activities from inception to delivery. Guided several teams on Scrum and Kanban, conducted iteration (sprint) planning, backlog grooming, MVP, story breakdown, work item reviews, retrospectives, release planning, infrastructure planning and alignment across program teams. As a core member of agile transformation team i have mentored junior Scrum Masters, created common guidelines for the entire development organization to help teams increase benefits of agile development & reduced process complexity.

Worked closely with customers to elicit requirements and created detailed requirements specification. Working with technical leads to create Architecture Description Documents, Design Documents, Coding Guidelines and Testing Strategy. Planned and managed resources on projects with tight schedules & requiring specialized domain knowledge.
